Replacing the Disc
Follow our simple instructions below to replace the diamond disc on your Uni Disk Multi-Head hand piece with ease.
- It is good practice to regularly replace your diamond disc because an efficient cutting disk reduces the effort required when in use.
- It is important that the diamond disc is cleaned regularly, both while in use and immediately after the end of your working day, as a build-up of tooth deposits is extremely difficult to remove once dried within the diamond grit. It also reduces the cutting efficiency and can increase the load on the bearings and gears.
- Warm soapy water has been found to be the best solution for cleaning out tooth debris. It is acceptable to immerse the head into water for cleaning, but please do not leave it immersed, also try not to put your hand piece away whilst still wet.
