IMPORTANT NOTICE – CARBIDE BLADE PRICING
Due to significant increases in the cost of tungsten carbide, we are currently updating prices across our carbide blade range.
Since July 2025 the cost of the carbide material used in these products has increased dramatically, with raw material prices rising by more than 240% during this period. Much of the world’s tungsten carbide supply originates from China, and recent changes in global supply have had a substantial impact on pricing.
Unfortunately this means that some of our historic pricing is no longer sustainable and adjustments are now being made across affected products.
Dearson remains committed to continuing production of these blades and maintaining the quality and performance expected by our customers. However, in order to manage the current raw material market we will be producing certain blades in smaller batches, and some products may be supplied on a short lead time or pre-order basis.
